MOTs have long been a part of every driver’s life. While cars have evolved over the last few decades, the way we MOT and service them hasn’t.
Until recently… as a new breed of mobile MOT and servicing providers seek to simplify the process with online booking, flexible pickup and delivery of your car.
The client – one of the largest of them – engaged us to help them rapidly grow their slice of this new market.
The Challenge
While the potential market for car service and MOT booking is enormous, people’s buying patterns in this area are hard to shift…
As an unknown brand offering a service people didn’t know existed… awareness and trust would be hard-won.
The Approach
Structural Optimisation
With multiple cities and different types of service on offer, there was a multitude of structural approaches available. It took ongoing refinement and rigorous internal negatives to cover all areas of activity in the most effective way.
Once we were generating bookings well under target CPA, we expanded to Bing Ads
(not included in the results below) and added more of the same.
Ongoing Experimentation
The client had big ambitions and a bold approach 👍🏽 so we tested new methods continually.
We trialled new smart bidding methods (the algorithms came good!) and honed messaging with structured, ongoing testing of ad copy.
